There were bugs in the soil and I hope they aren’t thrips! I think they might just be fungus gnats. The tree looks decent and healthy. Fingers crossed it’s just fungus gnats and some fruit obliterating monster that prey on citrus. It’s my first citrus tree, so I’m a total beginner. You can’t buy imported yuzu fruit in the U.S., so I decided to get a tree. The thorns surprised me! I can’t remember if it’s mentioned they have thorns on the site , but hopefully it’s in the description so people know! Fingers crossed my tree will thrive.
